We’re pleased to announce that Readysell 8.64.8xx is rolling out progressively to all of our Readysell 8 customers. This release is focused on implementing some important service enhancements, improvements to the framework of the whole application, and actioning bugs that have been reported over the last period.
New Feature Development
17453 – [Retail POS] Auto Cash Count for next day with zero values.
17417 – [Retail POS] Redesign of POS Server to allow POS to either run independently or from local back office server with centralised MariaDB database.
17272 – Added prompt to allow whether or not to print a receipt from the Readysell Win point of sale module for transactions completed with Cash or Card tender. To enable prompt, navigate to system types, POINT-OF-SALE, and set SALE-PRINT-PROMPT to “True”.- Relates to ticket 74022.
17400 – Freight/Fuel Levy can now be charged by % of total sale. Click for documentation and setup – Relates to tickets 83514, 83537, 83328, & 83217.
Bug Fixed
17460 – [Retail POS] Fixed when buttons were still showing link to Gift Registry or Convert to Lay-By even though they were disabled by system reference. – Relates to ticket 87878.
17404 – [Retail POS] Fixed stock remaining visual bug that could occur after completing a sale. – Relates to ticket 82519.
17451 – [Retail POS] System now uses “Counted Value” entries from Cash counted for Lump sum banking regardless if the value for transactions is zero. – Relates to ticket 87062.
17261 – [applicable to particular customers] Fixed contracts for freight, the system will no longer add freight if the sales value is more than the max value on the contract.
17407 – Adjusted discount column for inbuilt sales quotation form reports (F-108 and F-109) as it was too close to product unit column. – Relates to ticket 84241.
17408 – Fixed an issues that could occur in the shift details when multiple sales invoices had the same reference number.
17412 – Fixed price category as adding a markup or discount was updating old sale orders prices. – Relates to ticket 84659.
17416 – Fixed XchangeIT integration, the system now links a barcode to the recommended price inc. This prevents scenarios where a first issue magazine could be sold for a different price as it was previously updated by a new issue. – Relates to tickets 84523.
17426 – Fixed error that would appear when trying to open and edit the consignment details on a posted uninvoiced sale shipment. – Relates to ticket 85722.
17427 – Fixed issue that could occur when using a tender that had a surcharge value when trying to use either the complete button on the sales order or invoice button on shipment. – Relates to tickets 85748 & 86197.
17435 – Fixed stock quantity adjustment displaying” Is Serial Number Req” as true when product doesn’t require any serial number. – Relates to ticket 86453.
17450 – Increased Product ID length from 24 to 50 characters. Relates to tickets 85950, & 85941.
