Readysell January Sprint 2023 update

We’re pleased to announce that Readysell 8.61.2XX is rolling out progressively to all of our Readysell 8 customers. This release is focused on implementing some important service enhancements, improvements to the framework of the whole application, and actioning bugs that have been reported over the last period.

New Feature Development

16617 – Added the “DoContractClosing” parameter to task “Contract Management” that when set to True, the task will automatically close a contract if the end date has passed. Relates to ticket 38492.

Bug Fixed:

16612 – GetServiceOrders API now returns the Repair Description. Relates to ticket 38318.

16637 – Extended the Customer Order field for sale shipment and sale invoice to 100 characters. Now matches Customer Order field in sale order. Relates to ticket 38872.

16644 – Fixed an issue where when using {CUSTOMER-ORDER} in the subject line of an email batch where the customer order did not previously appear in the Subject line. Relates to ticket 39329.

16645 – When using web quotes if a customer sets the qty of product to 0 that product will now be removed from the quote in Readysell. Relates to ticket 38562.

16652 – Fixed an issue with Pro Rata of freight where If you had zero qty received on the purchase receipt the pro rata of freight was incorrectly allocating to the zero qty lines.

16656 – Retail POS – Fixed an issue when assigning a customer to a sale order, the pricing was not reflective of the customer’s chosen price level. Relates to ticket 39942.

16658 – Fixed an issue where the initial loading splash screen during startup was not closing as expected.

16667 – The “Number of Students” field on web quote is now hidden when the “Number of Students” is zero.

16670 – Changed Banking Value from Order Payment rounding to match the same rounding as tender value so the banking value now rounds to two decimal places

16671 – Retail POS – Fixed an issue where if a customer was entitled to pricing from a contract based on product category, the customer was receiving the default price level instead of the expected contract price.

16672 – Fixed an issue where the AutoIncreaseMeterCharge task was creating empty events in the staff schedule.
