In Readysell 8.28, rolling out to all of our Readysell 8 customers over the next week, we’ve focused on implementing a number of common and long standing customer requests.

Better manage product substitutions with automatic substitution propagation

Readysell allows you to automatically substitute any product for any other product when orders are created. Sometimes, however, you may not know that a product needs to be substituted until after it has been shipped or after multiple orders have already been created. Now, when you add a substitution, Readysell will offer to automatically substitute the product in any orders and shipments that are already in progress.

Improve communication and customer relationships with file attachments for email batches

Readysell 8 has always allowed you to add HTML-based formatting and images into your email batches, allowing you to quickly craft customized email marketing campaigns or stylize your statement and invoice emails with your branding. We’ve now expanded that to include file attachments, perfect if you want to add a flyer or some printable material the next time you email your customers.

Speed up your point of sale processing by pre-loading the shipment screen

If you have any workstations serving as dedicated point of sale terminals, you can now set up those workstations to automatically open a new sale shipment window when the previous sale has completed processing, ensuring you can quickly get to serving the next customer.

Make effective use of action items with action rule templating

Readysell’s action item system allows you to be automatically notified when certain events occur in your system. With our latest set of improvements, you can customize the wording and formatting of the notification messages generated, to ensure they are clear and meet your needs.

Don’t get caught out by margin changes with automatic quotation expiry

To ensure you don’t get caught out by processing old quotations, you can now set up Readysell to automatically cancel quotes when they reach their expiry date. The default expiry period can be set up to match your company policy and can be manually modified on a quote-by-quote basis.

Improve your suppiler EDI compliance when processing purchase runs

We’ve made a range of improvements to the EDI workflow, especially when processing purchase runs. You’ll now be prompted when you’re about to email a purchase run and asked if you want to send qualifying orders by EDI instead. You’ll now be able to take advantage of the many benefits of EDI for even more orders.

In Readysell 8.27, rolling out to all of our Readysell 8 customers over the next week, we’ve continued our focus on time saving measures to help you with your day to day work as well as implemented a number of common customer requests.

Seamlessly adopt the Office Brands endless aisle range and save time with quick product creation

Readysell will now automatically create products based on the OneX information already in your price book if they are ordered from the web, but do not exist already in your system. This allows you to easily sell the entire endless aisle range without having to load it into your product file first. Alternatively, you can wait until the order arrives and then choose to either create then or create an automatic substitution.

Reduce administrative overhead with contract improvements

We’ve made a number of usability improves to contract price management in Readysell. We’ve added a “copy” button (to allow you to quickly copy from one contract to another), improved handling of drafts and made some navigation improvements.

Get on-the-fly insights into your data, without having to add columns, with new built in variants

Readysell 8 is highly customizable, but many users have asked us to provide access to some of these customization benefits “out of the box”. We’ve now added a number of view variants that can be accessed from common list views (such as Cards, Products and Open Items). These views are targeted at specific scenarios, such as data maintenance, reconciliation and account balance review.

Get ready for Office Brands marketing automation with the contact view

Marketing automation requires a clean-up of your contact people, this was slow when performed one card at a time. We’ve now added a dedicated “Contacts” button to the Relationships menu. This view lists all your contacts across all customers and/or suppliers, allowing you to not only get a singular view of all contact people, but also easily maintain and cleanse this information for Office Brand’s upcoming marketing automation system.

Manage sales easily with sale order improvements

We’ve now added a “Hold” button to sale orders to allow you to manually put a sale order on hold. This ensures that you can easily stop a sale order from being picked up by automatic warehousing under special circumstances. You can now also change the “Maximum Shipments” value (which defaults from a customer’s card) on an order-by-order basis.

In Readysell 8.26, rolling out to all of our Readysell 8 customers over the next week, we’ve focussed on smaller improvements and common customer requests. Hopefully you’ll notice some small refinements throughout the system that help you squeeze out just a little more productivity and remove frustration from your day.

Better manage your warehouse with support for rolling stocktakes

Our stocktaking module has been improved, allowing you to select from three modes when starting a new stocktake. Along with a traditional “full” stocktake, you can now also run a “partial” stocktake (when you want to count just particular locations) or an “ad-hoc” stocktake (when you want the freedom to count only select items). Each mode validates to ensure you’ve counted everything you need.

Stay organized with archiving for contacts and addresses

Because Readysell maintains internal data integrity by linking transaction records to the addresses and contact people associated with them, it’s been historically harder to maintain cards when this data has already been used on sales or purchases. With the new “Archive” flag on contact people and addresses, you’ll be able to keep old information in the system without having it interfere with day-to-day use of the system.

Identify issues faster with colour coding on transactions

Readysell will now colour code the transaction status field to make it quicker and easier to tell if a transaction is in a particular status. This will ensure that any exceptions can be quickly identified on either a list view or when viewing the transaction details. And if you don’t like pretty colours, don’t worry, you can turn this feature off in the system references. But who doesn’t love rainbows?

Control sensitive operations with manager authorization

If you have particular transactions in your system that you want staff to have approval to perform, you can now set up your system to require manager authorization before they can proceed. For example, you may want staff to be able to create purchase orders, but only after their manager has authorized them. You can set purchase orders to require a manager to enter their operator code before the staff member can proceed.

Hot on the heels of our recent announcement of new integration with ACCO Australia, Stationers Supply and Newell Rubbermaid, we’re pleased to release Readysell 8.25, rolling out to all of our Readysell 8 customers over the next week. Not only does this release bring some new integration points (with Canon and Office Brands), but we’ve also been able to squeeze in some commonly requested features.

Streamline web customer onboarding with new integration

We’ve worked with Office Brands to add the capability to upload customer data directly from your Readysell system to WebX with the click of a button. Now, you only have to enter the customer details in one place to quickly get your customer up and running in your system and on the web. This will not only save you time when creating new customers, but will also help ensure that your customer’s web integration works correctly from day one.

Reduce administrative overhead when making minor changes

We’ve built Readysell to be as robust and auditable as possible, but we’ve heard your feedback about certain scenarios where this adds too much overhead to common business processes. One of these is handling minor changes to completed invoices (such as fixing the delivery address or customer order number). We’ve now added the ability to make such changes for a configurable period after an invoice is finalised to help avoid unnecessary reversals.

Automate managed print services with eMaintenance integration

Canon’s eMaintenaince platform allows for intelligent remote management of Canon devices. Readysell can now interface directly with Canon’s web service platform to extract daily meter counts and populate them into Readysell. Combined with semi-automated and automated email count imports, this integration can be used to greatly reduce manual work at end of month when generating invoices for managed print services.
